On-Farm Climate Action Fund opens Jan 4 '23

On-Farm Climate Action Fund

The next On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) intake will accept applications from January 4, 2023 until 11:59 (ET) January 18, 2023!

OFCAF provides cost-share funding for Ontario farmers to implement new practices under in-field nitrogen management, cover cropping and rotational grazing systems.

Eligible invoice dates for this intake will be January 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024. Projects must be completed (which means the new practice approved for funding must be implemented on the eligible acres), including demonstrated participation in an approved Knowledge Sharing Event, by January 31, 2024.

The Program Guide will be updated on November 15th, 2022. You can find program information, including a link to the Program Guide at Ontario On-Farm Climate Action Fund OSCIA (ontariosoilcrop.org). Be sure to read the Program Guide after November 15th for details on eligible costs and activities, documentation required with an application, and more.

On this webpage, you will also find a link to OSCIAPortal.org, which you can visit anytime to create a user account and enroll your farm business in advance of the intake. Completion and submission of applications via the portal, however, will only be possible once the intake opens.
