Indigenous Women in Business Program from NADF


NADF is running a special program for the Women in Business Program (WiB) which provides training and financing of up to $20,000

The goal of the WiB is to assist Northern Ontario Indigenous women with a desire to:

  • start or grow a business
  • overcome barriers and access funding
  • build their credit, and
  • leverage financing and support services

Eligibility

  • be an Indigenous woman over the age of 18 years
  • must be a wholly owned or majority-owned (51%) Indigenous women-led business
  • business must be located and operating in NADF’s service area

who want to start or grow their business. NADF’s
WiB workshops series will prepare you to take the
next step in your entrepreneurial journey.

Financing

The WiB is a micro-finance program designed
for part-time and/or home-based Indigenous
women-led businesses requiring smaller loans
and who may lack access to conventional financing.

  • Up to $20K in Financing
    • Up to 50% repayable
    • Up to 45% non-repayable
    • 5% equity requirement
  • Repayable over 5 years
  • 8.5% interest rate
